Skyfest Wind Tunnel?

Ok every one I would have done a poll but I don't know how to set it up, maybe someone could do it for me? Here is the situation. Adrenln tunnel has approached us on bringing out their wind tunnel for SF 04. www.adrenln.com Here's the problem, it is noisy, very very loud they said they would stack hay around it to reduce it, but by how much? With all the events going on do we really want to add something else? Where do we put it? I think the parking lott is too close. The other side of the pond would be good, but then there is the traffic problem. I think it would be better next year that way we could get the town involved and be better prepared for the traffic it might create, don't want whuffo's young and old wondering across the landing area.
We could not have it run Saturday night during dinner, awards and SCR ceremony, so that leaves the rest of the days.
What do ya'll think, yes, no, maybe next year?

And remember this is not a Skyventure tunnel. There is a difference. Not putting it down, it does exactly what it was made for, whuffo's. Still a ton of fun!

It was at SDD last weekend. It is insane loud. Louder than a skyvan, louder than fireworks, louder then any hangover could ever tolerate.
Is it fun? So I hear. I hear some people had a blast, it really makes you work on body position and slow flying.
I still hear it running in my head. That was the only draw back. LOUD.
The peeps that ran it were cool and partied w/ the best of us, and worked around events throughout the weekend.

I was thinking that they would put it down at the other end of the field. Like out past where the tandems land, maybe a couple hundred yards east of the hanger.

That tunnel is very loud. Unless you get the thing way, way, away, you will get tired of hearing it. Not sure if it would run after dark, but the neighbors and any live band would not appreciate it.

Dont forget to put up alot of safety signs. The air above and around will be very dangerous for any canopy coming over to close.

Its a good tunnel, especially for a tunnel that can be brought to your DZ. It *is* loud, but you could move it far far away (Spaceland is big enough for that), but then folks may not use it since it is far far away.

If you move it too far down, then the folks in the Rabbit Hole would get mad...

I'm sure if you talk to the Boyds you could figure something out.

OK. When folks say, "Loud" that is really an under expression. More like thunderously annoying. The thing ran until 11:00 PM and we couldn't even hear ourselves talking. Plus, you'll need to create a "no fly" zone for canopies so if it gets voted in, it'll need to be placed way away for quiet with the landing pattern in mind.

The tunnel is great and we love flying in it. We know that we are a little loud but if you give us a chance I know that ya'll can have a great time too.
