EricTheRed 0 #1 July 12, 2004 Background: My Miata has a few more than 200,000 miles on it. Knowing that it’s mostly been driven hard, I have had a 2nd engine prepared and was planning to make the swap. Due to time constraints (I’d rather be jumping right now, instead of wrestling around with my car) it looks like I’ll be procrastinating for a bit. Question #1: Should I drive this car to Lost Prairie (someone else will be carrying my gear) with the current engine? (Roughly 600 miles) Question #2: Assuming I postpone the swap, what should I do to keep the freshly rebuilt engine in good condition until it’s needed? turtlespeed 226 #2 July 12, 2004 You'll have to stop by Bryan, Texas on your way - so mioght as well drive something else.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
