turtlespeed 226 #1 July 14, 2004 Just lookin' 'round and didn't see anthing about Todd Hawkins. He was my coach for the airspeed camp I had the opportunity to attend. I heard about his accident - but little else. Just wondering how he is - and if there is any help to be offered. I found This in "Events and places to jump" but it seems WAY too neglected. Todd is an awesome skydiver that caught an unlucky break - I am sure that any help would be appreciated. ClintI'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

Zenister 0 #4 July 14, 2004 He was across the hall from me for a few days while i was in the hospital, unfortunately i didn’t get to limp over and see him (as i wasn’t cleared for crutches yet), but his parents came by to see me when they were told there was another skydiver across the hall They were simply wonderful, great people who do understand our love for the sky and stopped by to say hi and chat for a few until Todd was moved to a rehab center.... prayers and support i suppose, I believe they are trying to focus on the healing process out of the limelight that comes along with being a well recognized member of a very close community. He is making progress and fighting hard (asking about Nationals even ) but it is not my place to say anything else..____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
