mouth 0 #26 July 13, 2004 As long as the clouds are not directly over the DZ I'll take 78 -85. Good compromise? Wanta fly to Rantoul with me on the 6th? -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.
kelel01 1 #27 July 13, 2004 Wish I could, but my company sucks a big fat one, and I only get like 4 days of vacation for the year. That temperature compromise works for me. After all, variety is the spice of life! Kelly
Shell666 0 #28 July 13, 2004 QuoteVery cool pics...literally. I'm not much on snow after this year either. Why can't it be 85 and sunny every day? It's a balmy 27oC here today ... rather nice. Heading to 30oC for the weekend! MUCH better than Sunday's weather ... 'Shell'Shell
mouth 0 #29 July 13, 2004 Catch Val's sickness and sneak out. I just looked and we are back below 100 finally. Yeah, it's 99. Wahooo -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.
bbarnhouse 0 #30 July 13, 2004 QuoteAZ is hot but nothing like the humidity here. I step outside and the sweat just collects on my body. And that is in the shade. Humdidity sucks...think I'll have another glass of wine to toast that I hate humidity to go along with about 10 other things right now. Lisa is right! Just having returned from Florida I am glad to be back in the 108's with 28% humidity. That is a walk in the park. I was dying in Florida and again in Houston. Why we coulda had us a wet tee-shirt contest!
kelel01 1 #31 July 13, 2004 OMG . . . I totally forgot. I got in my car today, and it was so muggy, I literally felt like I was drowning for a second. I mean, that's just nuts. I may be able to go to Rantoul, but I think I would just go for the party. I'm not up for jumping in a sea of canopies just yet. However, I don't even work on Fridays, so I may be able to swing it. I'll check.

I'll check. You shouldn't worry too much about the "sea of canopies".. I went to Rantoul last year with about as many jumps as you have and did a C130 jump with 100 other people. We were spread across the sky so much that we didn't really get in each others way. Trust me !! You will have time of your life, which I believe is the definition of "nig noggery" and we will be participating in World Class nig noggery at Rantoul. Snowwhite 0 #41 July 14, 2004 Our heat index here was 104 today. REALLY hi humidity. And like the college eddecated person I are, I ordered 16 loads of top soil to be delivered yesterday and today. Managed to get them all put where they were supposed to be.. mouth 0 #49 July 14, 2004 Today is set up to be another scorcher as they predict a high of 103. Nothing like summer in the South. 103 in the shade and humid enough to soak you through your clothes in less than 5 minutes. I think I'll do nothing all day and enjoy it ....again. As for the jump plane the King Aire has AC and still climbs to alt in about 8 minutes. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit. turtlespeed 226 #50 July 14, 2004 #1 that is why Skygod invented clear and pulls at altitude #2 when you are on the ground an it is hot, you can wear underarmor - it helps #3 Under Armor looks GREAT on hot skychicks. So, my advice is to do clear and pulls while wearing underarmor.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
