catfishhunter 2 #1 July 15, 2004 I think I might have broke my ankle last night playing frisbee! FU** it HURTS. I am going to the Insta-Care here in a bit to get it checked. I thought I just sprained it but it does not feel like any sprain I have ever had...This is the 3rd time since I started Sky Diving that I have been hurt on the GROUND. Once roller Skating(tore my knee up) Yep gave that shit up.... Re-Hurt the same knee and Ankle playing Softball.. Gave that Shit up too... now I can't even play Frisbee without getting hurt! WTF is that all about!. Ok Rant over... sigh....Hope it is just sprained as I HAVE to jump in 3 weeks with my Friend on her first Tandem, which I am paying for her 21st birthday. Healing Vibes would be much appreciated MAKE EVERY DAY COUNT Life is Short and we never know how long we are going to have. We must live life to the fullest EVERY DAY. kamih 0 #4 July 15, 2004 Man... I know how you feel.. I sprained my ankle really badly a couple years ago just by missing a step down some stupid stairs.. took more than a month to heal. Some of my rough landings have reminded me that it's still not 100%.. That's what sucks about foot injuries, they seem to never recover completely . Hope yours gets better fast! In the meantime, menthol and methyl salicylates!
 catfishhunter 2 #5 July 15, 2004 QuoteHope yours gets better fast! Thanks me too. The problem with jumping injuries is that they can be pretty catastrophic (of course so can a nasty hockey injury when your body meets the boards at high speeds). Oh ... LOL ... I have suffered a BASE jumping injury. A few weeks back I sprained my left thumb when it got caught up with a riser on opening. You can bet that I haven't reached for my risers + mud flaps after pitching my PC on the 10 jumps I've made since then.
