Vallerina 2 #1 July 22, 2004 That's right. I rear ended somebody today. My foot slipped off the brake (my shoe was hurting my foot, so I went to adjust it, and I adjusted my entire foot on accident.) We were on a downhill thingy. I tapped the car in front of me. He tapped the annoying guy in front of him. There was no damage, but the guy in front of him insisted we called a cop. I was annoyed. The guy I tapped was annoyed. We were both going to be very late to work....all for nothing. Sigh....There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
RoadRash 0 #2 July 22, 2004 Take it easy Val!!! Claim you don't feel well when you get to work...then go jumping...that will make you feel better...~R+R...At least in your accident, you didn't have two cop cars show up and someone had to go to the hospital (thankfully not me).......~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Fly the friendly skies...^_^...})ii({...^_~... Vallerina 2 #3 July 22, 2004 QuoteClaim you don't feel well when you get to work...then go jumping Actually, had I played hookie like I did last week to jump, none of this would've happened! Yeah, I guess it's a good thing no one got hurt, but people don't usually get hurt when you're going under 5 mph....There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Vallerina 2 #6 July 22, 2004 QuoteUnless that would have been a motorcycle infront of you or infront of the next guy... Uhh...you know who I dated for two years, right? I do "watch for bikes" etc etc. And, if you are at a complete stop and you let off of the brake, I don't think even that would hurt someone on a bike.... I am much more worried about people in big vehicles that tailgate. QuoteI'm sorry, but some jackoff wanted to call the cops for that?!?! Yup. QuoteGeeze...for that...the next time I see ya...I'll bring you donuts and beer... YAY!!! You are the BEST! When are you going to make it out to Hinckley next anyways???? AggieDave 6 #7 July 22, 2004 Yeah, I know, I replied and stated more for everyone else reading this thread then you. QuoteI don't think even that would hurt someone on a bike.... Maybe not, but I bet it'll hurt the person in the car... Just kidding. I'm glad its turning out fine and no one was hurt, its a complete pisser that the guy wanted to call the cops. I was rearended in my truck a few months ago, similar situation actually...the chick behind me just rolled into me at about 15-20mph. Her Ford Explorer took some good damage from my hitch, it slightly bent my rear bumper. I said no cops, no insurance, write me a check for a new bumper and we're done. A few calls around found out the costs of replacement and quickly I had a check for the amount needed. Now I have a shiney new Ranch Hand rear bumper (made out of steel pipe and plate steel), so next time around, my truck shouldn't take *any* damage...--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Vallerina 2 #10 July 22, 2004 QuoteMaybe not, but I bet it'll hurt the person in the car... No, the guy in the car just spilled hot, fresh coffee all over himself. That's why he spooked and let off his brake. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Say hello to everyone and try and make sure my dad behaves himself! I wish I could go too, but being a poor grad student, I have to go where I have money on account already...And I don't know if I should drink more to train for summerfest, or give up drinking until summerfest! We'll def. have to jump and party, I'll be there all week!
