AggieDave 6 #5 July 22, 2004 Is that Mullin's King Air? Ha, I bet it is "specially modified King Air B90"...now see, it would be really cool if it was out of something that has been used by real HALO guys...C-130, etc. Now, their other adventures look intersting, though.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." AggieDave 6 #7 July 22, 2004 Quote I saw "specially modified King Air" in TN and automatically assumed... Yeah, looks like you posted while I was reading/typing, so we asked the same question. Well, I'm with you in assuming its his King Air. $3k? I wonder what he charges per person for just the lift ticket, not the gear, training, etc, just for the lift...*mind wurring*--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." cderham 0 #10 July 22, 2004 look at the picture of the instructors. It sure looks like Mullins plane in the background. WOW $3 Grand only cost $350 at WFFC to do Mullins from 30,000ft. So that tandum pays $2650 not bad for a 2 minute ride. Chris It's Jimmy Time!! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Team-Fast-As-Fuck/6099474213
AggieDave 6 #11 July 22, 2004 Well, I called the "adverture" place and yup, they use Mike Mullins and Kevin Holbrook (sp?) is the "jump master" for their jumps.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

turtlespeed 226 #14 July 22, 2004 Do they take second mortages?I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
mattjw916 2 #15 July 22, 2004 That is crazy expensive... I rather save my money and put it toward being proficient enough to do a solo HALO jump. Tandem is not that exciting after the first time IMO.NSCR-2376, SCR-15080
LouDiamond 1 #16 July 22, 2004 It's done in the military, in fact, there is a picture of one being done in full kit on the wall at Raeford DZ. As for the rally racing, I got to do that as part of my job and got my Rally license out of it to boot. The price they are charging for that HALO tandem is Ludicrous IMO."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING

Icon134 0 #19 July 22, 2004 I agree... I'd rather forgo the tandum and just do a straigt up solo HALO... aeromobile 0 #21 July 22, 2004 QuoteAre they using Mullins' King Air? Yes, it is his airplane, but not his HALO operation. The HALO operation is Kevins from Lousiana or is it Mississippi.
Casurf1978 0 #22 July 22, 2004 Quote$3000?! mh . $3000USD DAM. I'd rather go here http://halojumper.com/index.html. Kindof confused though they say USPA "D", but also state 200 jumps. I thought "D" was 500. Oh well still have a long way to go till I get 200, 500 is unthinkable right now. It seems like a lot of fun though.

It is Mike's plane and yes they (not mike) charge that for a HALO Tandem which includes: Jump training, HALO tandem jump, flight suit, video of adventure, digital photos and certificate of completion. Transportation to and from training site/jump site and Memphis area hotel is also provided. I've seen them done. They have a blast.
