Brains 2 #2 July 22, 2004 Hang in there man, there are many who are worse off than you. Plus, you are moving around and are able to at least wear jeans. I think that says a lot. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
ladyskydiver 0 #3 July 22, 2004 Hugs! Well...you could find some hot skychica to help you into your jeans. Might help make it less annoying.Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Casch 0 #4 July 22, 2004 My injury isn't near as bad as yours, but as far as pants are concerned, I avoid them like the plague. I can only wear them if I wrap my roadrash up in gause, and even then it's really uncomfortable. I've been wearing shorts here at work for the last few days. It grosses a few people out, and peaks the curiousity of others. Whatever. At least I don't have to go to the production floor for now (jeans are required for production floor)

Zenister 0 #8 July 22, 2004 thanks for the well wishes... ja.. from the research i've been doing and the accounts i've heard here, I'm really really lucky and making good progress. I was limping around a bit yesterday without cane or crutches just to see how much it hurt (not as much as i'd expected but more than i like) and I'm on a cane (cant cheat as much) for most of the day to start getting my coordination and muscle strength back...plus light stress is better for bone growth.... i guess i'm just a stubborn bastage who wants to be well right now!! I need to post some picks, before my scars heal to well... but since I havent been very social I havent shaved in a while... add that to the 4 inch goatee i had going before and i'm getting a bit to 'young-osama' for anyone's taste... oh well i'll clean up again soon... and I'll certanly take you up on that beer...only had one since my accident but it was a very tasty treat... I hope to be jumping again by the end of Oct, but certainly by the Xmas boogie.... going to clean up my rig this afternoon when it cools off a bit, then maybe drop it off at Eloy this weekend for Sam to fix the leg straps... on the plus side i get to design a new jumpsuit. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
