Cypres 4 year servicing

I had a question about the four year service cycle on a cypres2. I bought my rig and cypres a year ago and right after I bought my rig, I got laid off of my job and didnt jump at all last year. I got my rig assembled right before my layoff and I havent even turned the device on. I just got a new job making great money at JP Morgan and within the next 2 to 3 months I will be back in the sky again. However, does the 4 year service date apply from when you bought the product (even if it hasnt been used) or from 4 years when you started using the piece of gear instead.

4 year service has to be done within 6month (before or after) of the DOM.

a unit made in 08/2006 has to be serviced between 02/2010 and 02/2011
