vdschoor 0 #1 July 20, 2004 Aright.. we finally made up our minds, and we're leaving either Saturday night after the sunset load in Byron or Sunday morning early. We're planning on driving up north to Oregon, and then east through Spokane to the Prairie. Any places we should stop on the way? Who's going to be at Skydive Oregon? TallGuy 0 #2 July 20, 2004 Quote Any places we should stop on the way? Yeah you should stop in Alameda and pick up chopchop's shade canopy from Stinky Jim. You can never have to much shade up there!

That means you'll be coming through the Tri-Cities about 30 minutes after you cross the Oregon/Washington state line. We'll be jumping at Richland Skysports that day, but more than likely shut down by the time you get up this way, and quite possibly all in bed by then. Multnomah Falls just outside Portland is worth a snapshot or two. Mt.Hood is a bit out of your way but doable if you want a late afternoon hike (and don't stop elsewhere first). If you're taking your time, hitting wineries in Willamette Valley or breweries in/around Portland might be fun. The drive from Tri-Cities to Spokane sucks, but it's only 2 hours, then the scenery gets nice again. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!"
