Staso 0 #26 July 27, 2004 Quote Actually, on the show - due to insurance, they were forced to use engines much less powerful than those that were supposed to have blown over the taxi in Brazil. They couldn't make it work. but they used two strategically pointed ! :) Quote BUT...at the end of the show, they ran footage from the airport cameras showing the actual event - it happened. i didn't see that. well, if they had an actual footage that it did happen, then what's the point to check if it could happen ? kinda defies the whole idea of the show ! :) -- it's not about defying gravity; it's how hard you can abuse it. speed skydiving it is ... freeflybella 0 #27 July 27, 2004 Yeah, strategically pointed hair dryers! Also the cab was moving, which may have helped get it off the ground. But you're right - maybe they got the footage after the show aired originally? I didn't listen too closely. edited: ALSO! What's up with not emptying the gas tank before blowing super heated air onto a car whilst trying to flip it?!?! Thought it best only after the first try upon discovering how hot the car was getting and the fuel started to leak!
