mattjw916 2 #2 July 27, 2004 some people go to crazy lengths just to make themselves feel superior by "beating" the system... maybe he works for a copying or graphic arts company and steals the supplies... NSCR-2376, SCR-15080
mr2mk1g 10 #3 July 27, 2004 Still trying to come up with a compelling motive for this one.... article doesn't quite make sense though as it says it costs 1,000 yen to make each of the 1,000 yen notes.... surely if a real 1,000 yen note is used in production in addition to a colour photo copy AND sticky tape, these notes would actually cost a lot more than 1,000 yen to make? PhreeZone 20 #4 July 27, 2004 Motive? Why do people spend hours and hours cracking into software to get a registeration code? If they worked even at $10 an hour while doing that they could probally buy the software and a soda in the amount of time it would take them to crack it. Why do people write viruses? Why do people paint paintings and show them to on one? Cause they can. Its more personal satisfaction then any other motive. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
Slappie 9 #5 July 27, 2004 [QUOTE]Why do people spend hours and hours cracking into software to get a registeration code? This ones easy. It's because it's fun "Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them." bvsdjumper 0 #6 July 27, 2004 To anyone who knows Japanese currency: QuoteThe fake bills are made by replacing the middle strip of genuine notes with a color photocopy, and securing them with tape. Could that middle strip be used for counterfeiting larger denomination bills that aren't obviously fake to the human eye? --ArtSky-div'ing (ski'div'ing) n. FrogNog 1 #7 July 27, 2004 How many Yen would it cost to buy the news story they just got? Answer: about 400,000. If they had paid less than 1,000 Yen per 1,000 Yen bill they counterfeited, then they might not have gotten the story. -=-=-=-=- Pull.
