RyanofOZ 0 #1 July 27, 2004 Not that I think much can be done here but I felt like ranting for a minute.... What kind of luck is this? I got a new Icon a few weeks ago and had it all packed up at my local DZ. Great rig and couldnt be any happier. Problem is this.... My rigger calls me last week and said that he forgot to put my reserve card back in the pocket and he wanted to let me know so that I wouldnt show up to another DZ and be screwed. Well folks, that is what just happened (for the most part). My DZ is closed the next 2 days and I only have tomorrow to go jump in the morning at another one. I cant get the card. I cant get a hold of anyone to vouch for my reserve since they are all closed, I dont really want to have it repacked after 2 weeks to jump twice tomorrow.... I am bummed! This is the first time in months my GF has been busy and I would have all afternoon alone to jump! Arrrrggggghhh! Ok, I feel better now..... Whenever something lame happens and I can't ride one of my motorcycles I usually just tell myself that maybe fate was on my side that day. livendive 8 #3 July 27, 2004 Have the DZ you want to go to call your rigger and have him explain the deal. If the DZ you want to go to knows your rigger's seal, have them look at that and the DOM on your container. There may be solutions, provided you have a good rapport with both DZs and your rigger.
