Jump 554

Recommended Posts

It only took 23 screws, 2 rods, 1 metal plate, and a radial head, 11 months of PT, 7 surgeries, 3 serious suicide attempts, 24 months of OT weekly doctors visits and 1 million HMO dollars to make jump 554.

Congratulations on your recovery.

Are you the jumper on the left, or the right?

All I can say is Dude! :o

And that's cool -- good to see you back. I'll bet your dad is happier than you have any idea of to have you here, never mind jumping.

The right, the young guy in blue, the other guy is my dad

Congrat's for sticking with the sport!

I do have to say, the Dad thing is pretty cool too. Wish I could jump with my dad. He'd never go for it -

Jason, that is the best news I have heard in a long time. Congratulations, my friend. You've just given me hope that has almost been completely gone.:)
Maybe....just maybe.

Thanks pal and blue skies always,

Its good to see that you were able to recover good enough to enjoy the sport again.

Since you stated it in your first post, I will assume that your not afraid to talk about it, so I will ask. Why the hell did you try to kill yourself 3 times? Granted I have never been injured that bad, and hope I never find out what its like, but I just would like to know how and if it was associated to your injuries.

Just my .02. I think this question is better suited for a pm. I'm sure Jason would answer it if he feels so inclined.

I do know some of what Jason has gone through these past 2 years. I pray you never have to.

Peace,
