I know tons of you hang out at the tent, if you can afford to get to WFFC, buy beer, and jello shots, then you can at least donate a few dollars for the place that you're going to be hanging out at. skybytch 273 #5 June 15, 2004 This year the tent is gonna totally rock. We will have - More than twice the packing area of last year. More than twice the socializing area of last year. Wireless internet access. Power to charge your lappie/cell phone/camera batteries. A water cooler (hot and cold water even) and several 5 gallon bottles. A small ("dorm size") refrigerator. Holds about a case of green bottles. Couches and chairs to kick back on and tables to put stuff on. All the cool lights from last year (you still have those, right Sunny?). A radio tuned to manifest. A set of computer speakers so we can all play our mp3 collections. Fans. Fans are a good thing to have. And a bunch of fun people to jump with, hang out with, pack with, party with, talk to, laugh with, tease, pass jello shots to, etc... That's well worth five or ten bucks, I'd say. My plans are to head out to rantoul prolly on tuesday or wednesday and set up my tent and store a bunch of the supplies in it. Then i'll head back to rantoul thursday night or friday morning with the rest of the supplies. I was thinking about letting people mail me their tents and i would set them up so they could get to rantoul and not worry about it. Of course i would charge $5-$10 depending on the tent size.
