If driven more moderately a single 7.5 liter (13.7 gallon) tank of gasoline should result in approximately 700 km (435 miles). Ford has one of their SUV's (the Escape) as a hybrid, Honda has the Accord V6 coming out, and Toyota is going to be coming out with a Highlander hybrid version. But the only thing I don't like about it is the amount of gas it gulps. The 2005 Highlander actually has more HP than my current V8 model. Probably not as much torque, but as long as it gets me up to Tahoe without wishing I had something beefier - it's all good. If the price is right, I just might be making a trade-in next year.
