Nothing like the smell of jet fuel and hearing the engine starting up and feeling the excitement of sitting in the plane waiting to get to altitude. Checking my gear a thousand times making sure its just right. putting your hand on that little breeze to cool of my hand because I'm a bundle of nerves. Boy when its time I jump up so fast look out and see the sky and ground below and a calmness comes over me and I feel alive again.
