howardwhite 6 #1 June 4, 2008 A DZ not far from me offers "GPS Integrated on Parachute Flight" (clip from their web site attached.) New one on me. Anyone have a clue? HW
Andy_Copland 0 #2 June 4, 2008 Maybe looking for fancy looking filler meaning their aircraft have GPS? But it does say parachute flight... mnealtx 0 #3 June 4, 2008 Probably a Garmin eTrex or similar clipped to the rig like a radio, then plotted to show your flight path on a map.Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
DougH 270 #4 June 5, 2008 They are using Google Maps as far as I can tell, but I don't go around there any more so I am not sure. Their google ads also have safety guarantees. Sign me up!!! I wish DZ's would stick to more straight forward marketing. Add Skydive Cape Cod to the creative marketing list as well... now aparantly they are a "CT Skydive Center".
