catfishhunter 2 #1 July 30, 2004 or know someone who is an addict. Before I sign off for the weekend I just wanted to ask you to say a prayer for the still suffering addict. We have lost 2 people to OD's since last saturday who just couldn't stay clean one day at a time.Alot of people in my life are hurting real bad and your prayers would appreciate. If you think you might have a problem your not alone. Pick up the phone call someone. I am posting this here because I Know there are others on this board who are part of "my family" and there are others that just haven't found there way home yet. Squeak 17 #2 July 31, 2004 Sorry to hear about yur loss. But somtimes that's the only rock bottom for some people. (I've lost a few myself) But their deaths do serve a purpose, for me anyways, it helps to remind me that even after 14 years (on August 10th) that it's still the same shitty, horrible, insideous disease it was when I got clean. My name Squeak and I'm a still recovering addictYou are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing? Dougiefresh 0 #3 July 31, 2004 Dear God Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. You have no idea how many times I've heard these words. Prayers and vibes sent.Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so. --Douglas Adams
