kallend 2,146 #15 August 2, 2004 Why wait? Take in Summerfest first, then its just a 2 hour drive to Rantoul.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
ChangoLanzao 0 #16 August 2, 2004 Hey ... you're close! Remember to stop in on your way to Rantoul. I-57 exit 261, 0.9 miles west on Illinois 9...Illinois Skydiving Center, home of the Pathetic Losers Skydiving Team!, just 10 miles north of Rantoul. We have a King Air waiting for you and your friends to get a head start on jumping, today through Thursday, 9am 'till sunset ;-) CLICKY. We're so close to Rantoul that a bad spot could easily drop you onto the WFFC main landing area As skydivers start arriving and setting up their camps, we will be rounding them up to come and fill the King Air, 10 jumpers, and we're up! (only seven if we load hot).

freeflir29 0 #19 August 2, 2004 I have a 6 day week starting tomorrow. Get home about 1130PM on the 8th. I'll try to be up as early as possible on Monday to make the 9 hour drive to Rantoul. The biggest question is........Should I wear the Toga on the drive over. I'm thinking yes..... Think of the looks at gas stations and restaurants. Next question......How do I carry my gun while wearing a Toga?
wingnut 0 #20 August 2, 2004 QuoteHow do I carry my gun while wearing a Toga? dude, justyou your shoulder holser... the harnes will be hidden by the toga..as will your "piece"..... it could work!!!!!!! ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version"

freeflir29 0 #23 August 2, 2004 QuoteIn restaurants, walk from table to table, placing your hands on peoples heads and blessing them. Well.....I did the "Internet Minister" registration. So....technically I am a minister. Might want to stand back though. The lightning bolts will come quickly I'm sure.
happythoughts 0 #24 August 2, 2004 I thought of doing something along those lines because evangelists make great cash and excellent babes. (Perhaps there is a babes/cash relationship that I've missed.) However, my sense of morality keeps me from any religious affiliations. There are some downsides too. You work a lot of Sundays. If you go all the way to prophet/messiah, there is always the martyr problem. You never make any jumps during Easter boogie.
freeflir29 0 #25 August 2, 2004 I don't have all those problems though. My chucrch is the "Church of the Blue Sky Evangelical." We meet on the way to altitude and after the beer light comes on. Comunion you know.
