ACMESkydiver 0 #1 August 6, 2004 Kinda zippy on that landing yesterday... But the jump was sooooo damn cool!!! 71 seconds of freefall!! YIPPEEE!! Ok, but my left shin is skinned up in a patch about 6 inches long and 3 inches wide, and I have very pale skin that scars really easily... It drew blood but just barely...most of the tiny amount of blood stuck to the nylon inside of my jumpy-jumpy pants -that hurt taking them off! I used some iodine (isn't that the yellow-brown sh*t they use prior to surgery?) on it at the DZ yesterday...what else should I do? Damn I don't need anymore scars!!! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
kelel01 1 #2 August 6, 2004 Use Neosporin, and when it heals use Mederma. Neosporin prevents scars, and Mederma fades ones that are already there. Readily available - I get it at health food stores. It should be brown in color, not clear. It was recommended to me after I ran face first into a Volkswagon Van while playing football in a parking lot. No visible scars at all - not even if you know where to look. Use it after the wound has a good scab.
 JohnnyD 0 #9 August 6, 2004 QuoteI don't know, but I wish I did for my motorcycle accident.
