Skyvanfan 0 #1 August 13, 2004 Congratulations to Jono Gordon for FINALLY breaking the Skyvan record, set at Cross Keys by Rob Branch. Our Chief Pilot, Jono, flew 42 Skyvan loads on Saturday, August 7th, besting Rob's record by 3 loads. Jumpers handed him food all day, and as far as we know, he never left the plane, and still managed a great fly-by at the end of a perfect day! Upholding the usual Cross Keys tradition, Will held Jono down after he finally disembarked, and jumpers congratulated him with pie after pie! He even hobbled in later to join us for the BBQ on the deck! CONGRATULATIONS JONO - you ROCK!

Mark Lamberson and I did in one day 42 and 37 loads respectively. 79 loads to full altitude with two otters ain't bad. I bet he hobbled into the bonfire. And I bet the next morning when he went to fly again he just haited to look at that friggin airplane. I know I did.
