just got back from hurricane evasion, my ship had to leave of course, but we got back today,
havent been able to get ahold of anyone at zhills,
how is everyone out there, is skydive city alright?
i hope so,
it sucked having to leave while disaster almost struck home,

Glad you're back safe. I believe ZHills turned out ok, I think.

Lake Wales got hammered and a lot of damage. Their own fault for not taking proper precautions.

What do you want them to do to protect the hanger? They did everything they could do with the hour warning they got that the storm was changing path and was to hit them.

I think its low you are slamming a DZ for getting hit with 150+ mph storm damage

I agree with phree on this one. Lake Wales is one of the greatest dz's out there and definitely has their shit together. They did the best they could with the cards they were dealt. Shit happens, but what we need to be doing now is helping them out in any way possible, not trashing them.

Well, I'm not making a call on their preparation or lack of it, but they were in the projected storm track for days prior to the storm hitting.
