Muenkel 0 #1 August 16, 2004 My life changed in a split second due to my injury I've discussed many times here. Early this past Saturday morning (around 4:00am) I was rushed to the ER due to severe pain in my head. I lost consciousness several times and my blood pressure was about 196/130. It's normally about 115/75. After about 7 injections of morphine and various other drugs, the pain finally subsided. Fortunately my CT Scan and blood work was normal. So it's been a rough year. I think it's the rough ones that make you stronger. I have a ways to go, but I'm determined to come out of this a better, stronger man. Anyway, thanks for the many, many well wishes I received this past year. I try to return those well wishes whenever I can. Stay healthy and safe everyone, _________________________________________ Chris

My home number works better. I'm overdue for a Sunshine serenade! Thanks peepsters. Like I said to JRock, I'll have a decision to make in about a year. My hope is that I decide to get back in the sky. _________________________________________ Chris

Brodes 0 #12 August 17, 2004 A tiny bit offtopic, but for me today marks one year since my friend was killed in a hit and run while visiting my home town. It totally ripped through our group of friends, and long story short, his death inspired me to do things id only ever imagined...like skydiving. Now i cant imagine my life without it, so thanks Ant I just wanted to show that some pretty amazing things can come out of tragedy.
