Sheenster303 0 #1 August 17, 2004 Alright you guys.......I need some help. As many of you know, I broke my ankle/leg a couple of weeks ago after a bad......no wait........a great landing. (My second ever stand up landing! ) Now I'm grounded from walking, working, skydiving, and pretty anything that involves my leg hanging down for more than five minutes. So my question for you guys is.........do you have any suggestions to keep me entertained while I'm down and out? I can't postwhore too much cuz I can't sit at the computer for long periods of time. I've watched about 20 movies in the past 2 weeks and even though I love movies, I'm getting a little tired of them. I've read 4 books and my eyes are getting a little tired. I'm so bored. Please give me some suggestions! Anything would be great!I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #
kelel01 1 #2 August 17, 2004 You could work as a phone sex operator. You just punch a code into your phone, and then you make money and have fun! (Just imagine the guy on the other end looks like Tom Cruise and not some toothless loser). If I weren't at work, I'd look up a link for you. Feel better Sheenie! Sheenster303 0 #4 August 17, 2004 Ah I've tried that a couple of times, but the guys just weren't turning me on. Oh wait......I'm supposed to be turning them on huh? I guess that could have been the problem. I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #
kelel01 1 #5 August 17, 2004 Remember, Sheenie Beenie . . . the longer you keep them on the phone, the more money you make. You have to be focused on what they want. Kelly
Sheenster303 0 #6 August 17, 2004 But that's so hard to do! Especially now! Not being able to move very much can make a person very hard up for some lovin. I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #
mr2mk1g 10 #7 August 17, 2004 Someone successfully sued in the UK for RSI from masturbating while working on a phone sex line. She was told by her employer to do anything to keep them on the line. A bad wrist and some very sore genitalia later and she had the guy in court.
sunshine 2 #8 August 17, 2004 I hear you about getting bored with movies and books. It does suck. Hop online whenever you can and IM with your freinds. That was pretty much the only way i made it through my injury. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug! AggieDave 6 #11 August 17, 2004 Go to Wal-Mart and buy some lego sets, or maybe a couple plastic model sets. Make some cool stuff.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
Sheenster303 0 #12 August 17, 2004 I need to get a setup around my computer so my leg isn't hanging down. If I didn't have to sit straight up at the computer, I would be a serious postwhore. kelel01 1 #13 August 17, 2004 Dave had a good idea . . . You could do something crafty. make your mom go buy you a whole bunch of scrapbooking stuff or something. Or you could learn to knit like the celebs. Kelly
Sheenster303 0 #14 August 17, 2004 I'm not much of a crafty person, but legos sounds fun! And if you ever catch me knitting, it's because I have gone crazy from the boredom. My mom is trying to get me to cross-stitch, but I'm too impatient. Good idea about the scrapbooking stuff though. She bought me a whole of bunch stuff for Christmas a couple of years ago that I never used. Maybe I can actually do something with the billions of pictures I have. I'll even make a special Kelly/Carly section of when we all dyed our own hair. What a disaster. Memories......la la la la.......I'm so funny I crack my head open! Sheenster303 0 #18 August 17, 2004 I've actually done a couple of big cross-stitch projects, but I usually get really frustrated when I mess up. I'll see what I can do to get that done for you. But beware........it may take me a lifetime to get it done. I start over completely everytime I mess up.I'm so funny I crack my head open! peacefuljeffrey 0 #21 August 18, 2004 Learn to make hemp necklaces. Order a bunch of closing pins. Get some very tiny split rings (like keyrings) from a craft store. Put the closing pins onto the split rings and make closing pin necklaces for selling to skydivers. (Skydivers will buy anything, trust me!) Even if you don't bother making closing pin necklaces for sale, knot tying is great relaxing activity. I suggest you buy a book called The Complete Book of Decorative Knots by Geoffrey Budworth. It has a lot of really cool knots with very understandable diagrams. It's very satisfying to tie a nice Turk's Head or Monkey's Fist. (Yes, the same Monkey's Fist that is used to make pilot chute handles! I personally made the one that's on my rig.) Budworth is certainly not the only guy who's written knot books, but he's one of the best. He is a founding member of the International Guild of Knot Tyers. You can't go wrong with any of his books, but the one I mentioned is very good for learning the knots used to make necklaces and such. Even if he spells his name wrong.
