jtval 0 #4 August 19, 2004 i saw this guy playing the buckets at mardi gras in 2000, HE was insane. the guy had buckets a truck rim a milk crate with tin strapped to the inside. I woulnd consider them drummers; more like percussionist, but the guy sounded so cool I bought a tape of him playing. (which is now somewhere at my dad's house)My photos My Videos
bshl 0 #5 August 19, 2004 I like watching his foot. He lifts the bucket at times to end up with a tom and other times he's just banging it down as a base. And you're right, it is percussion rather than drumming. Pretty kewl, though. I wish *I* could do that. Blue skies and happy landings!

jtval 0 #7 August 19, 2004 do you really wish you could do that? I think one requirement is that you have to live where you play the buckets...on the streetsMy photos My Videos
bshl 0 #8 August 19, 2004 Just the talent, thanks. If his tour extends out here, perhaps he'll teach me to play. Yeah, right. Blue skies and happy landings!
