RoadRash gave me Ebola at WFFC!!!

Recommended Posts

Okay, so someone left a coin-purse with $112.25 in my car and I thought it was RoadRash's. So, like the honest guy I am, I call her up and try to make arrangements to return it.

I found out it actually belonged to Zeemax's GF Taffy, but that's neither here nor there.

During the convo, she let slip that she wasn't feeling well, some kind of chest crud.

I think I said something like, "better you than me".

sigh..

Since Sunday I've had this damn congestion in my chest, the sniffles, fever, soreness, and a need for revenge.

So who else did the lil' outbreak monkey infect?

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, junior's feeling just fine as his chick comes home disease-free after depositing her illness onto everyone else at WFFC...:D:D

Yeah, just another reason I am just soooo glad I didn't go. :S

Actually, Karma bitch slapped her too, princess.

She wasn't sick at the Convention. She called in sick to work to get an extra day there, and only got sick when she went in to work. (I'm guessing she picked it up there like everybody else).

Been home for a week. Been sick for a week. Cough sniffels, drained.
I talked to a LOT of people who got sick. OK, what was in those Jello shots ? I'm thinking the maker sneezed and coughed on the whole batch. Little petry dishes of Jello and sickness. Haven't been sick in over a year too.

I have been feeling the same way. I think that the combination of fatigue, extended exposure to the elements (esp if you camped out), and adrenaline crash makes you susceptible to opportunistic infections that your body might otherwise fight off.

Me too. It started in my nose, then the sore throat and now the cough. I even tried to kill it with a drink last night, but it didn't work. :(

Shall we call you Marry now?

WTF? Is that me you are talking about?

I'm not sick, and I was on the road for almost a month. I guess it pays to be old, and wanting to get to bed before midnight most nights;)

I have a sore throat, probably from talking/drinking tooo much or something like that.....other than that, I'm GREAT

Sitting in the back of the golfcart breathing all that fumage prolly wasn't real healthy. Maybe it was the exhaust from said golfcart polluting the air that made everyone sick. hehe. :D
