Pre-Second Visit to Raeford

Needed to stay current so I took the drive to Raeford and all i can say is ... what a great bunch of folks. I am terrible with names so I won't even go out on that limb. They made me feel comfortable right from the start. Great day, good people good jump, landing was a bit long ( but that was all me)

Oh, I'm JEALOUS!!

They do have a great spot there. When you go back tell Tommy (in Aviators bar) to hook you up with some hotwings & fries. I STILL have a beer chip so don't be surprised if I wander in someday to cash that baby in.

Tony & Kate may be around with their Little King so you CANNOT be bored there and if you get a chance, have drinks with Gene Paul. I miss that place!!!

King kept me company for a bit while we were waiting on a load ( then he got distracted by a couple of ladies that were doing a tandem).

If I met Jake and Chuck they were evidently being uncharacteristically nice. Like I said i am terrible with names ( lost those brain cells somewhere in the 70s).

Damn...I'm jealous. The Raeford gang is top notch. Definitely still one of the best vibes I've ever felt on a DZ.

Hope you had time to try the monkey fries in Aviator's Bar, and their mixed drinks are nice & strong.
