Newbie 0 #1 August 24, 2004 http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/3587960.stm i can't believe it. Here i am going on about how safe London is, and look where it get's me I hadn't seen him for years, but i sat next to him for 2 years at school in history and we had a good laugh together. The strange thing was, i was at a friends engagement party on saturday night. I was chatting to a friend that sat next to Tom for a couple of years as well. I can't even remember why we were talking about him. Then a few hours later... RIP mate "Skydiving is a door" Happythoughts

Rebecca 0 #4 August 24, 2004 Wow. That's so sad. And so scary. I've been out alone at night in London, just to walk a few blocks home, and always felt safe (though I was always wary and alert and cabbed it if it was more than 3-4 blocks) I'm so sorry for you Newbie, and especially for Tom's family. Hope this isn't the start of something... you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
