Deuce 1 #27 August 24, 2004 That's neat, Bets, and kinda scary now that I think of it. I'm 10 years and a couple weeks from taking my girls on their first tandem or AFF-1. Very neat, and like you said, very expensive. But you did say they both can pack .

Having faced her fear she now realizes that the only limitations she has in this life, are the ones that she sets for herself. I do have another daughter that will fly in the wind tunnel until she is old enough to jump. That's so wonderful, Betsy! Whenever, or if, she wants to learn, just send her over my way. _________________________________________ all good things are wild and free - Henry David Thoreau
 freeflir29 0 #31 August 24, 2004 QuoteI can say that it was an emotional experience and I am extremely proud. That's awesome Betsy. Just 9 more years and maybe my son will be ready for such things. It must be great to be able to share that with your daughter. Nobody else in my family jumps anymore. My Dad has a B license but hasn't jumped since 1965. My sister has a couple static lines but never seriously pursued it. My family seems to be a little more on the dangerous side. They ride horses. Those damn things will kill you!
 Prev 1 2 Next Page 2 of 2 Join the conversation You can post now and register later.
