One thing you will learn as you spend more and more time around Rodriguez Brothers is that we're flexible. (Don't even get started with that statement, I know where this crowd wants to take it). Although we list two parents on the website, and you are welcome to jump with as MANY brothers as you can stand having on the plane at one time , we typically figure only one brother needs to be on the jump with you. If there was only one brother with you on the jump then the "second parent" could be the Bumpy Brother who initiated you that night (pretty common), or a buddy who was at the boogie but didn't jump with you, or whatever. We like the initiation jump to be "predeclared", not because it HAS to be but because it's fun to add a little fanfare to the experience, like singing the song (maybe a few times) on the way to altitude, embarassing you with loud announcements about your impending brotherhood on the plane, and other such tomfoolery. My number one priority for an initiation jump is that you HAVE FUN. Pick a jump that'll be fun and memorable, make it happen, and get ready for some fun later that night!
