I am the academic advisor for incoming freshmen who have not yet declared a major:

Me: I need to check that the information I have on you is correct. You are listed as an "Undecided Major", is that correct?

Student: Yes, my Mother made me do that. I didn't want to be undecided.

Me: Oh, well, what do you want to major in?

Student: I don't know, I haven't made up my mind yet.
