weegegirl 2 #1 August 25, 2004 Just curious.... How many jumps has everyone made this year? Did the economy take its toll on your jump money? I can't believe the season is almost over already. Summerfest and Rantoul have come and gone. Wow. It's been fun. I personally made somewhere around 250 jumps this year so far.

cvfd1399 0 #4 August 25, 2004 I am going on 3 weeks since my last jump. It is due to the 3 deadly W's WORK, WEATHER, WEALTH I am ashamed at my jump numbers for the year, something like 18. I did buy a rig in that time, and rental gear was $50 a jump with packjob. Numbers are about to get to go up to 6-12 jumps a month soon.
chaoskitty 0 #5 August 25, 2004 I've made around 70 jumps this year. I've been at the DZ on a fairly regular basis and hit a couple of boogies.. but I've also taken ski trips, hawaii trips, camping and canoeing trips.. advanced my carreer.. Money doesnt hold me back... time does, and weather. I'll probably make at least 40 or 50 more by the end of the year.
SLIDER 0 #6 August 25, 2004 I'd have to check my log book to be right on, but I think I've got 150-175 since about April. I jump almost every weekend "there's a fine line between hobby and mental illness"
freeflir29 0 #7 August 25, 2004 Not sure but I think it's in the neighborhood of 150 or so. MUCH better than the previous year but still not enough. The weather at Rantoul didn't help. Only got in 13 there and 2 more at SDC. Still a fun week but I certainly would have liked to be in the air more. Won't get in anymore for the next few weeks. I have planned out the winter better this time. No more 4 month breaks!!!
skybytch 273 #8 August 25, 2004 Between physical and financial issues, I'm up to a whoppin' 40 jumps so far this year. Oh, and almost an hour of tunnel time. Small number, but there were some damn fine jumps in there... a 6 point 16 way with some really talented skydivers and good friends for my 1000th, a bunch of hop n pops that helped me get a lot more accurate with and confident under my canopy, the funniest jump I've ever been on (Blow Joe initiation), a few kick ass freefly jumps... I guess I'll take quality over quantity if I have to.
mattjw916 2 #9 August 25, 2004 Just going to get a helmet and altimeter to start... I am going to stick with the Square 2 demo program until I am skilled enough to buy a nice new rig and not slam/drag it across the ground of the Arizona desert. Brains 2 #10 August 25, 2004 I would need to check the logbook to be certain, but i have done about 200 jump so far this year. I will probably do another 100 or so before it is over. adamjenner 0 #11 August 25, 2004 i've made ZERO! but just because i'm saving to do PFF next season. BUT i still go out to pack just cuz i'm not jumping doesn't mean i can't go to the dz haha
