WFFC Radio Wake Up Song

Recommended Posts

Israel Kamakawiwo'ole!

I bought his cd 3 years ago after my first Convention! That song will always remind me of waking up, going to the LO tents and learning a ton with some of the coolest people ever.

Since I haven't made it to WFFC yet, which one of his songs was used as the wakeup song? Morning dew?

The song is Some where over the rainbow, but with a twist.

The song is very addicting. It made me want to be there by 8:00 a.m. to hear it.

In 2003, I remember waking up to the sound of sliders flapping. Looking out the tent into 300' of socked-in fog, and canopies landing in that from the early-morning high-altitude load. Weird. But kinda cool too. ;)

Of course, nobody got me up that early to jump while I was there...

Mike Mullins has the BEST alarm clock ever. I never had to hit 'snooze' I just waited til his 3rd load, and it was timed perfectly every day! Then the song, and the anthem, at attention. Terrific way to start a day...
