freeflir29 0 #1 August 25, 2004 Well....I stopped by KMart on the way home to pick up some CD's. They don't have the best prices but they are convenient and the chick that works the register in electronics is DRIPPING sexy! So.....I went in and spent $60+ on some CD's for my WFFC video. Now.....I will be spending the next few weeks editing. Then I will have to buy a DVD burner since I don't have DSL anymore and can't FTP it to someone. Hopefully I can mail it to Phreezone and he will be gracious enough to host it for me. Anyway.......another inspiring masterpiece is on it's way. This is my 3rd so it should rival the first two! WFFC 1 #7 August 26, 2004 If you want to get me a hi res AVI of it online when you're done, I'll put it on Freefall.com for you. Since there was no video crew, I'm kinda hurting for highlight videos this year. BTW, the only requirement is no nudity. Remember, this is a family event. ----- ~~~Michael

freeflir29 0 #11 August 27, 2004 QuoteClay did you ever find our jump together on your camera...or will my phenomenal freeflying skills not grace this footage?? Oh....I found it.......but the heads were dirty and the couple seconds I have look like bad TV reception. SORRY!!!! You have a great sit fly BTW. IIRC you only have 80 jumps?!?!?!?!?! You are kickin ass bro. Definately a natural! QuoteBTW, the only requirement is no nudity. Remember, this is a family event. Believe it or not.........there isn't one single SECOND of nudity. I got about 45 mintues of that in 2002. I found it to be somewhat a waste of tape. If someone wants to see boobies there's tons of free internet porn. I'll save my tape for skydiving and TRUELY entertaining ground stuff. Quoteclay sux at camera... he never turns it on or it shuts off somehow Hey....if you'd keep those spectacular boobies away from the HUGE RED BUTTON on my helmet that wouldn't happen. cvfd1399 0 #18 August 27, 2004 Wait till the blue lazer cd burners come out ($3,800) Blu-ray uses a blue laser to record data on discs, while CD and DVD systems use red lasers. Blue lasers have a shorter wavelength -- 405 nanometers compared to around 650 nanometers on DVD systems -- and that means the laser beam can be focused onto a smaller area of the disc surface. In turn, this means less area is needed to store one bit of data and so more data can be stored on a disc. Recording is done in the MPEG-2 format, and the 23G-byte disc can store two hours of high-definition video at maximum quality, or four hours of standard-definition digital broadcasting. Up to 16 hours of lower quality analog terrestrial broadcasting can be stored.
