one of them had to have video review to be seen, it was missed by the entire panel, the other mistake was 'caught' but told to wait..... if it had been addressed properly when it was first noticed this would be a non-story and the Korean would have won.

Judges are human. Even three can make the same mistake or two. Do you think they are going to reverse a score without video? It would seem stupid not to take advantage of video. Also, do you really want competitors criticizing others about their scores -- hey, he didn't lose points for X? Hamm should have filed a challenge against the Korean for not being deducted .2?

So, say Hamm gives up his medal. Does that mean that Korea's Kim Dae-Eun gives up his silver medal and takes the bronze? What happens if Hamm gives up his medal but Dae-Eun does not give up his? Does Hamm get stuck with the bronze? I would think and hope Dae-Eun would give up his medal if Hamm gives up his, but there is no mention of it. So maybe that is what Hamm is also considering.
