Customs SUCKS

Ok, so my Birdman suit has been sitting in customs since last Thursday, I know this because I've been tracking it online since it left Deland. Now the US Post Office held up their fair share of the deal and delivered within 3-5 days, but the stupid Australian customs is taking their sweet time, I'm sure they're looking at the box going "ooh, birdman, i wonder what that is?" Anyways, so I just got something in the mail today telling me I have to go down there to pick it up because it needs clearance. So dumb. I hate customs. If I knew I had to pick it up I would've been there Friday and I would've jumped it all weekend. Ah well, looks like I need to make a nice hour-long trip to the customs office tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Dude you don't just go there and pick it up you havce to get it cleared thourgh customs.
That cost money and takes time.
If you do all the paper work yourself it will take days. If a broker does it it will take hours.
At least thats what happened when my PC105 came in from OS. cost me another $300 to get the fugger cleared thourgh customs

It still ended up $500 cheaper than buying local though

nah i called them today and they said if i go down i can pick it up right then and there. if i send in the fax they said it takes days. am i wrong? let me know.

they said the same to me.
BUT when I got there I had to get it cleared through via a broker or go back home and fill in all the paper work and then send it off and wait days

They also mentioned that you only have to do that for items over $1000AUD.
