dixieskydiver 0 #1 September 1, 2004 Anyone know where I can get some cheap but durable jumpsuits for Dixie's students? We've been using some plain jumpsuits from Bodysport USA that are just polycotton without grippers or booties and they work great, but they want like $150 for them. That's a little pricey for the club, anyone know of another company that makes good student jumpsuits? AggieDave 6 #2 September 1, 2004 That's pretty cheap for jumpsuits that'll be atleast reasonably built. Please don't resort to putting students in Dickie's worksuits, they do jack shit for fall rate control, etc. I've seen DZ's use those for their actual student jumpsuits. The only time we use them is for tandems when its muddy, just to keep the mud off the students.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." One or two butt landings and now they have a GIANT hole in the butt. Dixie HISPA #56 Facil Rodriguez "Scientific research has shown that 60% of the time, it works every time." Must refrain from making rude comment about giant butt holes... Maybe there's a local sewer type that would be willing to make them cheap for ya, using poly cotton and codura in the butt? vdschoor 0 #6 September 1, 2004 We use FliteSuit jumpsuits on our dz for the students, I don't know the exact pricing for a basic jumpsuit, but I think they are fairly cheap too. Why go cheap on the jumpsuits anyways? I am not saying you should spend a lot of money on them, but I see our jumpsuits at the DZ, and they last a long time! flyangel2 2 #8 September 1, 2004 Ask local jumpers to sell their old jumpsuits that they are not wearing for jump tickets to the DZ. Contact the different Jumpsuit manufacturers and ask them if you order so many, what kind of price cut will they give you?
