Kris 0 #6 September 6, 2004 QuoteI don't understand, if I bring up my post history what does the % sign mean? Sparky Look at the URL for your post history. It's just a type of search as well, so the same percentile metric is applied to it. AggieDave 6 #8 September 6, 2004 QuoteAre you always that helpful when your students ask a question? Dude, you posted this in Bonfire. You should expect smart ass comments in Bonfire. That's like a student asking a question after the beerlight is on. Sure the question will be answered, but usually there's a smartass reply involved as a joke.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." If a student asks a question after the beerlight is that question any less important to the student? No, it is just less important to you.My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
AggieDave 6 #10 September 7, 2004 QuoteIf a student asks a question after the beerlight is that question any less important to the student? No, it is just less important to you. I'm sorry, but I guess I didn't type my thoughts out very clearly. What I was saying is that I answer their question to my fulliest ability, if I don't know the answer or I shouldn't be the one answering the question (for instance a method specific question about AFF) then I go get someone who can answer the question for the student. Along the way I may joke a bit with them, but then again, I'm at a smaller DZ and we're all a bit like family, even the student with only one or two jumps, they're pulled into the family quickly. Also, this being the Bonfire forum, I joke around more, if you read my posts in the other forums then you know that I'm very straight forward answering questions and asking questions. Michael, I'm sorry that I offended you, I was just joking around.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
