Lisa just called me on her cell phone -- she has reached Sebastian safely; there is no power, but that's not surprising.

The good news is that her house is safe and dry. There is water all around it but none got in. I am very happy for her.

I am also very happy for her and me because, as was implied in the other reports about Skydive Sebastian, we still have a store! All the windows are intact and the interior is dry.

Lisa said that besides the loss of the packing hangar, there is a lot of debris and some downed trees. The Zoo Bar lost some plastic from its awning but all else seems to be good. She has taken a lot of pix and will post them once she gets the means to do so.

Thanks to all who asked about our welfare and for all the good thoughts. Come on down and see us for the 2nd Annual Bytch Boogie in November and help us celebrate!

A few of us are stilling waiting for the dates for the boogie. I'll be down that way the second weekend in Nov. with Renee. Can you say tunnel whores? I hope the boogie is a few weeks after that. But I'm thinking not, since that would make it fall on Thanksgiving

I believe the boogie is thanksgiving weekend.

I'm scheduled to be on call that weekend which means I can't leave the area. Only possibility is to be there friday only, lots of driving for one day...

yeah. holidays are difficult to plan travel. I'll just have my own bytch boogie a weekend later then. Mary, andrea and eeneR can come to that one! It can be the Bytches Bitches Boogie. I'm sure we can cause enough trouble for a whole DZ of people!
