Ncrowe 0 #1 September 7, 2004 I'm still in texas hiding out from Frances, is there going to be enough jumpers at either of the two drop zones to turn some loads in houston this week? I think i remember readingskydive houston not allowing fun jumpers tuesday-thursday? "Don't Mess Around With the Guy in Shades- Oh No!!! "

Ncrowe 0 #3 September 7, 2004 Sounds good I didn't know abou that 6 th jmup free, thats a sweet deal. I'm going to be out there friday then I'm seriously jonseing to get in there air. Plus I did one jump there a few weeks ago and it was slow that day but seems like a cool DZ, I got to see someone get pied with nasty two week old looking food which was pretty funny Edit : Also if any dz.commers are going to be there and want to jump with my 31 jump chump self let me know solo's are getting boring :) "Don't Mess Around With the Guy in Shades- Oh No!!! Levin 0 #6 September 7, 2004 QuoteEdit : Also if any dz.commers are going to be there and want to jump with my 31 jump chump self let me know solo's are getting boring :) i'm not sure of your discipline of choice but when you are there find either Meg, Brit or myself and we will coach in sitflying for free. if no one else is there wanting coaching then we will coach you all day for free. note, that is a big incentive for coming out on friday and monday. not as many fun jumpers come out and quit possibly you could get a coach all to yourself for the day for free. cya this weekend
Levin 0 #7 September 7, 2004 QuoteAggieland is open (At least)on Wednesdays after noon (And sometimes at other times as well). there's another option. they don't offer any kind of free coaching or cheap jumps but they do offer a damn good time. i always have fun when i go to aggieland. i really should make it out there more often. cya at AOT!! Ncrowe 0 #8 September 7, 2004 I need to see how far aggieland is from beaumont , I think its pretty far otherwise I would have checked it out for already, i've heard nothing but good things about that place. Levin, Free coaching? Heck yeah I'm there for sure , I've not done any sit flying but free flying is going to be my discipline of choice and the sits where to start. 15 dollar jumps, 6 th jump free and now free coaching this place just gets better and better Thanks for the replys "Don't Mess Around With the Guy in Shades- Oh No!!! wmw999 2,589 #9 September 7, 2004 I don't know what's going on at Spaceland (I'm a weekends-only type), and their usual onsite person is on his way to the world meet right now. You can call the DZ at 1-800-SKYDIVE and they should be able to tell you. They can certainly keep the Cessna going most days, and often the Otter for a couple of late loads too.
