Why does everything have to happen on one day?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone else's life go like this: I don't really have much going on (it's the end of summer, after all.) However, it seems that when I finally do have things going on, they all have to happen on the exact same day. This Saturday, I want to jump (a special dive with Aimee), going dancing with the gals, go see Cake, and go to a lifelong friend's bbq at his new apartment! So, I can jump (but probably not the special dive) and do one other thing. Sigh...I'm going to the bbq, but I just wish other people would plan things around ME! Why couldn't the concert be tonight, go dancing tomorrow night, and the bbq be on Sunday?

This isn't a special instance either...it seems like it happens all the time!!!! Sheesh! Does it happen to anyone else?

Damn Val....if I could switch places with you right now I think my stress level would diminish by about 1000%. I'd probably go to sleep for the lack of anxiety :P....lol.

You could come to Florida and not have to worry about anything but trying to survive the wrath of MOTHER NATURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sit around and hope your place can withstand the constant barrage.

This is a highly unusual year though. I would not live anywhere else. People are getting a little psycho here though.

Oh and yes I know exactly what you are talking about except the military interferes with my plans. Kind of hard to get out of that one. I guess in a way it makes things easier sometimes. :S

I just read some article that said that due to some kinda weather thingy, frequent hurricanes in Florida will become the norm for a while now. So get used to it.

Florida is America's wang. a hurricane is just Florida getting a "blow" job.

Yup the same thing happens to me. I'll go long periods of time with nothing going on and them all of a sudden everything ends up scheduled for the same time.

Prime example: the weekend of Sept 24-26.

I have class on Friday (24) then I have to drive 2hours home for some family stuff, then another hour to a Dr.'s apt. Then drive back home and another 2 hours to Aggieland for the AOT Boogie.
Sat (25) party and hopefully jump at the boogie.Drive home.
Sun (26) go to our annual family reunion and then drive 2hours back to school and do homework and laundry.

Its not quiet as hectic as your plans, but atleast I'm going to try and make it to everything thats planned for that weekend.:S

Go see Cake! I love these guys! :)

I've been wanting to see them for years! I think it's only $7 to see them, too! Oh well. It looks like I'll be missing out again. I'm gonna go to the bbq and see lots of people that I haven't seen in a long time.

Sunny, I think they finally blocked it from me. :(

Wow...so I have to find out I get dissed by reading posts...how cool is that!!! :D I don't get it, what'd I do? How do I always get the SHORT end of the stick??!!! Ah well, probably better off...with 10 rounds in playoffs...this might be the one time that I actually can't get up enough energy for even that!!!

BTW.....I have something for you, from your appointment last night, she forgot to give it to you.

You think your one day is like that...try the whole freakin summer!!!

I'd rather have an awkward morning than a boring night!!!

That sucks. But everything will be blocked from me at some point soon. Whenver the network admin gets around to it, he's supposed to clear my puter of everything and rebuild it or something.[:/]

He is asking you out Val. I thought he was to shy to ask on a public forum. Wow, he must really like you!!

:$ Should I flirt back? Should I play hard to get? Should I unleash my femi-nazi bitchiness on him and tell him that I don't need a man to tell me when concerts are?

This is the wrong forum for relationship/dating advice. Don't you know that the Women's forum has turned into Relationship Drama Forum?
