There was an indoor skate park in Sacramento that did punk shows once a month. Mostly local oi and ska punk. So I get the hot tip on week, and show up. A visiting band caled "Exterminate" was playing. It was the Beasties doing only their punk stuff and some covers. Rockin show, only about 350-400 people. Best yet is I hung out and skated with them early in the day.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously. That must have been an incredible experience and I'd give a limb to have been able to attend. So far, the coolest "band moment" I've had was chatting with this dude at a friend's party about 7 or 8 years back.... We must have spent about 30 minutes together during our attempt to crack each other up and discussing why trendy sucks so much before I sobered up a bit and realized it was Henry Rollins. One of the smartest and funniest mofo's I have ever had the pleasure of getting to hang with.Definitely a key highlight of my life.
