skybytch 273 #2 September 11, 2004 After 10 years working as a gas jockey at my parent's full service (remember that?!?!) gas station, this is a question I can answer! Use a squeegee - a relatively new one, not the trashed one you find at the self service island. Get it good and wet in a mixture of water and Parson's Ammonia. Scrub well with the spongey side. Wipe the rubber side dry with a towel (cloth or paper) before squeegeeing the water away, and after each pass. Do NOT wipe the window with the towel - that creates streaks and streaks are bad. You can use the towel to wipe up any excess fluid on the top, bottom and sides of the window though. I used to get major compliments on my window washing abilities. Even got a few tips cuz I always made sure to get all the bugs and birdshit and not leave any streaks (cuz streaks are bad).

skybytch 273 #5 September 11, 2004 QuoteMaybe i should edit it to say the inside of the windows Works well on the insides too. Flick the excess liquid off the squeegee before you start and it won't drip all over your interior. edit to add - If you really want to impress people, flick the excess liquid off by tossing the squeegee up and catching it like a baton twirler.
