Heatmiser 0 #1 December 3, 2009 My apologies in advance, as I am having a hard time wading through the search function, and I am sure this has been asked before. My Sabre 190 is beating the crap out of me on opening. I bought it used with an unknown number of jumps on the lines, (they were still white) and have put about 150 my self. The openings have gotten much worse. I've downloaded the line trim chart from PD. If I'm reading it right, all the A lines are supposed to be 137 7/8 inches long. My center cell a lines are 135 inches, as well as the next two sets moving outward. The next set is measured at 133 1/2 inches, and the outer A lines are 132 inches. I haven't measured the other lines yet. I guess my question is two fold, is a three inch difference from center to outer cells a big deal, and could it make my Sabre slam me, (more than a sabre is known for slamming)What you say is reflective of your knowledge...HOW ya say it is reflective of your experience. Airtwardo Someone's going to be spanked! Hopefully, it will be me. Skymama
PeteS 0 #2 December 3, 2009 Rough guess is your lineset has around 600 jumps on it. The steering lines are probably shrunk twice the A line difference overall. A new lineset, and a pocket on the slider will fix it.
Martini 0 #3 December 3, 2009 If you like your canopy and plan on keeping it for a while get the new lineset, not only will you not regret it but more likely you'll wonder why you waited. Also discuss your openings with PD, they will reccommend solutions that will satisfy you.Sometimes you eat the bear..............
