Sprint PCS Won't Give Payment Extensions

Recommended Posts

My cell bill is due today. I have no money to pay it since I haven't been able to work and don't expect to see a paycheck for an unknown period of time. So I called "customer care" to request a payment extension.

When I finally talked to a live person I gave my information, explained my situation and was told to hold while she "checked some information." I held for 10 minutes. Then another person came on and asked for my information again. I gave it, explained my situation... and was told they can't do that.

Nice. Guess which cell service I'll be dumping as soon as my contract is up?

That's total bullcaca!! Probably some call center in India and they have no idea what just happened to southern Florida. Don't care either.

THAT SUCKS OUT LOUD!!! It's so like Sprint though. I'm counting down the days until I can get rid of my Sprint service. My contract is up in December. They have the worse billing I've ever seen.

For me, they are supposed to automatically take the payment from my checking and so I get bills that say nothing is due. However, about every 6 months the shut down my service for non payment.

I just hope who ever "we" go with next is better but I'm not holding my breath.

Don't go nextel they suck. Start a poll asking what provider you are the most staisfied with listing them in the poll. That way all the unhappy cell phone users can see what the rest of us are happy with.

Yea, considering I'm quite happy with Sprint PCS.

Sprint does that to me about every third month. Then, when you go to their web site to sign up for automated payment the pages take you in circles and you always end up right back where you started without getting anywhere useful. Very frustrating.

Fuck big corporations.

I do have to agree with you there Lisa.

Problem is, I know of no small corp provding cell service, and nation wide roaming on top of it all.

I had a few quirks when I first signed with Sprint, but those were ironed out quickly 3 years ago.
