kelel01 1 #26 September 14, 2004 Cameron Diaz. She's spunky and weird enough to play in a quirky movie like this, plus she's tall and hot. I think Jessica Simpson is too short for the part.
VanillaSkyGirl 6 #27 September 14, 2004 QuoteFaith Hill? Shania Twain (She is at least a Brunette) Shannon Elizabeth would've been good too and she is from Texas. Good choices! Bolas 5 #28 September 14, 2004 Quote Seriously, Jessica Simpson is not the right actress for this, imo, because she isn't the brightest bulb. I just looked at imdb: Seann William Scott .... Bo Duke Johnny Knoxville .... Luke Duke I don't think they are at all worried about intelligence... Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.

peacefuljeffrey 0 #30 September 14, 2004 QuoteActually, I don't think it's a bad choice considering she was up against Britney Spears. I bet Jessica's "ditzy" act.. is just that--an act. I guess only the movie will show how well she does though. Isn't Jess from Texas? I think she's funny and beautiful. Think about Jenny McCarthy. I don't think there's much room for doubt that she is beautiful, talented and intelligent. Her self-named show was reallllly funny. -Jeffrey --Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... kelel01 1 #31 September 14, 2004 Well, after finding out what two fine actors are playing the Duke boys, I'm thinking that Jessica Simpson is probably a good choice for this sure-to-be-campy (shitty) movie. Kelly

VanillaSkyGirl 6 #33 September 14, 2004 QuoteThink about Jenny McCarthy. I don't think there's much room for doubt that she is beautiful, talented and intelligent. Her self-named show was reallllly funny. Wow, I always thought that she was crass/crude and tried to get laughs targeted at mostly horny middle school pre-pubescent boys. Sorry, it may be harsh...but she definitely has never come across as intelligent by any stretch of the imagination. She mostly uses bathroom humor, such as talking constantly about her own farting (she seems to always have a problem with gas while on talk shows, yucky), burping and countless other bodily functions. It's not that funny, is it? Btw, how old are you now & how old were you when she had her "show"? Do you find her humorous now, or did you then? Just curious.
