and I am so stoked. It has been a long time since I put this body through a good workout and with all the back problems I have been having I hope this puts me back at the top of my game.

Wish me luck!!

Good for you!!! :)
Ya know, when I was working out (and I willbegin again here in about 30 minutes :S) I found it easy to quit smoking...

I needed air in my lungs to keep working out!!! ;)

Just please for the love of Pete don't smoke immediately after working out!!! Your lungs are just so expanded and your body will soak up that smoke like anything...B|:(

Good werk.
Quitting smoking is easier than some people make it out to be.
Make sure you are ready (hard part), you want to, and you have support.
Don't let your mind convince yourself that it is OK to have a cig.

"Well, you know, I havn't had a cig in 2 weeks and I hve had a stressfull day. I really like smoking so I can have just one." -BS! dont let yourself do it.

awesome!!!!

if you can, talk to your doctor about the back problems and find out what you can and can't do. and see if you can get a good personal trainer, because what they will show you is amazing compared to what you can do on your own. they'll help you mealplan, design exercise programs, learn how to do the exercises right, and adjust the programs when you hit a plateau.

Actually when you start working out you will want nicotine alot less... You body will actually crave it less, and so starting a workout program will be a great start to quitting your smoking. ;) Good for you for getting back into the health of things. :)

But now for the important question.. y'all coming to AOT?

Right now it's up in the air, we kinda missed the pre-reg deadline. I'm pretty sure I'm comming, but not so sure about the rest of the gang.

Dude, you're gonna have to downsize if you lose weight:P:D:D

Congrats Bill, i know i started feeling much better when i started working out.B|

Actually I'm hoping this gets my weight back down to the 200lb range, my 135 is scaring the shit out of me.:S I was actually looking at upsizing and then decided that losing weight would be cheaper;)

And, you guys were right about not smoking afterwards, besides, I can't lift my arm long enough to light a cigarette:S

Thanks for the support everyone.
