Sheenster303 0 #4 September 18, 2004 I'm just like you Sunny. I still haven't seen the first Lord of the Rings and I haven't seen Star Wars since I was like 3 so I don't remember it. I'm a loser cuz I'm sitting at home alone on a Friday night too. Except my night just got a little bit better cuz I got drunk-dialed by kelel01, mailin, and darius11. Maybe I'm not a complete loser.I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #
champu 1 #5 September 18, 2004 I've seen each of the three movies once. I watched the first two during the day then saw return of the king that night in the theater.
nael 0 #6 September 18, 2004 Once you've watched Two Towers you have to watch Return of the King, you cant finish watching halfway through the story! I've seen the fellowship about 15 times, two towers about 10 times, and return of the king only 3 times. I have all 3 on dvd, the first 2 are limited edition box sets. I'm slightly obsessed!www.TerminalSports.com.auAustralia's largest skydive gear store

I never said i wasn't gonna watch the 3rd one. I only rented 1&2 so far, didn't see a point in renting 3 til i watched the first 2. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! smiles 0 #8 September 18, 2004 ahhh, nothing beats watching the movies at a huge colossal theater-- I have yet to purchase the DVD and looking forward to the surround sound at least. My favorite character is attached----"my precious.." Reading the Hobbit, it was up to your imagination to visualize...(along with elp of a toke or two) Thought I would be disappointed watching the movies but forget that....Gollum was shockinglyso so , I fell in love with him...seeing him on the screen, ....more than my imagination could begin to- reading the story. wildcard451 0 #9 September 18, 2004 Quoteahhh, nothing beats watching the movies at a huge colossal theater-- No joke. I remember last December going to see the entire trilogy in one day. Now that was a lot of movie watching. But damn was it worth it. Plus it was pretty cool to see the freaks come out dressed in the outfits. Getting drunk and watching that was the highlight of my day. But he was cute as could be. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug!
Zenister 0 #11 September 18, 2004 QuoteI like LOTR too... and the best part is that damn fine elf! have you seen the very secret diaries of LOTR some quotes from Legolas's for you... Quote Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky. Day Four: Boromir so irritating. Why must he wear big shield like dinner plate all the time? Climbed up Caradhras but wimpy humans who cannot walk on snow insisted we climb back down. Am definitely prettiest member of the Fellowship. Go me! Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle. Orcs so silly. Still the prettiest. Day Ten: Gandalf fell into shadow. In other news, I think I am developing a spot on my nose. V. serious situation, as Elven spots likely to last for 500 years or more. Still prettiest, despite blasted spot. Day Eleven: In Lothlorien. Suspect Galadriel may be prettier than me. Also, am quite sure she copied my hairstyle. I was wearing that same look at least 1,000 years ago. Silly bint. She was most annoyed that I used her mirrored fountain to take a nice bubble bath. I choose to ignore her claim that my hair clogged her drain. Not one strand of my hair has fallen out in 800 years, why would it start now? Still prettiest by far. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

Zenister 0 #13 September 18, 2004 based on some of the quotes from Legolas's diary she's probablly got a better chance QuoteAm quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most offputting. Forsee dark times ahead, very dark times. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
skymama 37 #14 September 18, 2004 I'm like you too. I haven't seen the LOTR series, Star Wars or Harry Potter or even have read the books. I usually hate Sci-Fi or Fantasy movies and find them really boring. I can't believe you liked it...now I might have to try it!She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
Remster 30 #15 September 18, 2004 Andrea, LOTR is quite different in that repsect. There is a very good story behind it, and the character development is quite important. The special effect are not the goal in them (unlike the latest Star Wars series), but rather a means to an end, and you dont notice them as being as invasive as an army of alien robots.Remster

Remster is sooo right andrea. LOTR isn't typical scifi at all. If you're like me, you'll love the beautiful scenery and just get lost in the story. And yeah, it has some damn fine eye candy to look at. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug!
