jtval 0 #1 March 6, 2002 whoo hooo. my last check just cleared my account that means i am 100% free of debt(except for my car loan that i actually lied about and used it to get my rig)i wanted to wait before i purchased my tixx to australia. so for one day i am not paying anyone interest for my addiction to skydiving. but my tixx will be paid for before i get on the plane. that means when i get there i can jump like a MO FO.! getting high is fun, but coming down is the best partJT

jimbarry 0 #20 September 18, 2004 QuoteLUCKY LUCKY MAN I'm about 250000 in the hole. Gotta love home buying. :) Nononono, it's better than that. Net worth-wise, you put your mortgage payoff in the debt column, *and* you put your house's market value in the assets column. $300k house you still owe $200k gives you $100k towards your net worth. Unless, that is, your house is actually worth 250k less than your loan's current payoff.
jkwon 0 #21 September 18, 2004 You have a good point. In a couple years I'll be able to pay off all my credit card debt and my car and whatever debt I've accrued by then and be debt free just by selling my house. Wow...that kinda sounds nice. :)--joe HISPA #69 The Best Band in the WORLD!!! The new full length album "See What You Can Find"

Ron 10 #23 September 18, 2004 Congrats. The only debt I have is a car payment....Its nice not to have any credit card debt, and cash in the bank. I could take my savings out and pay off the 12 grand on the car...But I like having cash, and don't really mind the payments."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers,
